It’s 6:00PM on Valentine’s Day and I’m sitting in my boyfriend’s apartment staring at a pack of thin sliced chicken cutlets trying to figure out what I can make us for dinner–mind you, I’ve never really cooked a WHOLE MEAL on my own. I usually help with the preparation and the cleaning. But the actual task of cooking the meat, nah, that’s not me– I’m the chicken cutlet cleaner, since most people are grossed out by raw poultry. Well, I decided to do the one thing I am good at, GOOGLE. So I Googled “chicken cutlet recipes” and found this one, “Weight Watchers Parmesan Chicken Breasts”. PERFECTION!
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Grated Cheese (optional, if you’re cutting back on extra calories)
- 4 Bonless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 Tbsp Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- 1/8 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
What Do I Do Next?
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine the cheese, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and seasoned breadcrumbs into a resealable bag. Shake, not sitr, well.
- Transfer the mixture to a plate.
- Dip each chicken breast into mixture and coat all sides.
- Arrange on a nonstick baking sheet – no aluminum foil needed.
- Bake until chicken is cooked through. Approx. 20-25 mins.
- Serve with your choice of vegetables.
